  • Matt Lowry

    LEAD Pastor

    Matt has been the Lead Pastor of Calvary since November of 2017. Before that he was Associate and then Co-Pastor. Matt also served as the Student Ministries Pastor from 2002-2008. He married Carrie in 1999 and they have two beautiful girls - Emily and Zalee. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting and camping. Matt's passion is to lead people into a growing relationship with Christ, and to equip God's people to do the same.

  • steve highfield

    worship pastor

    Steve Highfield was born and raised in Snyder. He graduated Snyder High School in 1988. He went on to attend Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo. where he met the love of his life Stephanie. Steve graduated in 1993 and married Stephanie in June of that year.  Steve came on staff at Calvary as Worship Pastor in May of 1993 and still believes that music is a vital part in preparing the heart to receive the Word. Steve's interests include messing with technology, playing golf (emphasis on playing!), riding motorcycles, but most of all spending time with Stephanie and their two beautiful daughters Allison and Grace.

  • jayna hunter


    Jayna has been the Children’s director at Calvary Baptist church since 2012.

    She has been married to Tommy Hunter since 1991.  She has 2 beautiful daughters, Jesi and Sidni.  Jayna enjoys being outdoors and doing outdoor activities with her family such as hiking, kayaking and camping.  The ultimate purpose of our Children’s ministry at Calvary,  is to point children to God through Jesus Christ and to teach them how to apply the word to their daily lives.  In our efforts to fulfill this purpose, we value equipping children with biblical truths in a fun and creative way.  We also value the giftings and hearts of those who are committed to serving.  We value a safe environment for your children, emotionally, physically and spiritually.  We value our pastors and desire to provide opportunities for our children to know and honor them. And we value mentoring through relationship and example.

    ministries assistant

    Jessica Grant is the office manager here at Calvary Baptist Church. She joined the team in September 2017. She has been married to Gary Grant since June of 1999. They have three beautiful children, Morgan, Noah, and Seth. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and reading. Jessica loves people and is excited to see many come to accept Jesus as their Savior through the ministry at Calvary.

    Next Generation PASTOR

    Cody joined Calvary as the Young Adult's Pastor in November of 2018. Cody married his lovely wife Brittany November 25, 2017. Cody enjoys kayaking, fishing, and playing musical instruments. Cody strives to establish an environment of community with fellow church members.

  • Scott GILMORE

    Freeway Director / Discipleship Pastor

    Scott is the Freeway Director and Discipleship Pastor here at Calvary. Scott enjoys fishing and reading. He is married to Melissa Gilmore, and they have twins named Maeve and Bain. They love to serve in  ministry and are passionate about the church. They have a heart to reach those struggling in addiction.

    Carrie is the Women's Ministry Director here at Calvary. She joined our team in June of 2021. Carrie married her high school sweetheart, Matt, in 1999. They have two amazing daughters, Emily and Zalee. Carrie enjoys spending time with her family, shopping for shoes and running. Her desire is to love, encourage, and support the women in our church and community, as they develop and grow in their relationship with Christ.
