FREEWAY MINISTRIES

Making Disciples That Make Disciples

One Broken Life at a Time

Freeway Ministries is a discipleship and recovery ministry

of Calvary Baptist Church in Snyder, TX

Freeway Ministries focuses on three areas of ministry to do the work of the Great Commission: outreach, evangelism, and discipleship. Each area of ministry enables us to bridge the gap from the recovery community and the unchurched to the local church.

Weekly outreach

Our weekly outreaches are designed to meet the needs of the community by providing a hot meal and childcare while sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to bridge the gap between the recovery community, the unchurched, and the local church. Freeway Ministry outreach services are not a local church, but help point the lost and hurting to churches within the community.

Oftentimes, specific people groups will not attend a church due to preconceived notions or past hurts. We work to break down those barriers and introduce them to the body of Christ who loves and supports them. At the close of every weekly outreach, those in attendance are invited and given the opportunity to schedule transportation to a partnering church. We explain the necessity of the local church and encourage them to join a body of believers.

We meet every Saturday for a free meal at 5pm and a gospel centered service with testimonies and preaching at 6pm in the Calvary Life Center located at 2405 35th Street. If you need transportation call (417) 340-9133.

WOMEN'S discipleship house

The Freeway Women's House provides a safe and supportive Christ-centered environment for women to grow and develop their walk with the Lord.  Our discipleship program is designed around the principles found in the Word of God. Sobriety is the first step in long-term success; we believe discipleship is the key to life-long change.

Each woman is mentored through discipleship. They are taught the foundation for living a God honoring life. They learn the importance of restoring broken relationships with their children and family.

Women often face unique struggles during the first year of sobriety. By giving them a Godly foundation to build on, they can face these struggles with the skills necessary to be successful.

Trough partnerships with local churches, each woman is given the opportunity to serve in the community, at church, and at Freeway Ministries. They build lasting relationships that help them to develop Godly character, life skills, and accountability. The relationships often continue long after they graduate. It is truly a season that will change the rest of their life.

We welcome women from every demographic to deepen their relationship with God through our 12-month residential program. If you are interested in applying, please follow the link below.

**Due to program guidelines and restrictions we are unable to accept expecting mothers or women with their children.**
