Staff & Leadership

Steve Highfield was born and raised in Snyder. He graduated Snyder High School in 1988 and  went on to attend Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Mo. It was at BBC he met the love of his life, Stephanie. Steve graduated BBC in 1993 and married Stephanie in June of that year.  Steve came on staff at Calvary as Worship Pastor in May of 1993 and still believes that music is a vital part in preparing the heart to receive the Word.  Steve's interests include messing with technology and playing golf (emphasis on playing!)  Most of all, he loves spending time with Stephanie and their two beautiful daughters Allison and Grace.

Jayna has been the Children’s director at Calvary Baptist church since 2012.

She has been married to Tommy Hunter since 1991.  She has 2 beautiful daughters, Jesi and Sidni.  Jayna enjoys being outdoors and doing outdoor activities with her family such as hiking, kayaking and camping.  The ultimate purpose of our Children’s ministry at Calvary,  is to point children to God through Jesus Christ and to teach them how to apply the word to their daily lives.  In our efforts to fulfill this purpose, we value equipping children with biblical truths in a fun and creative way.  We also value the giftings and hearts of those who are committed to serving.  We value a safe environment for your children, emotionally, physically and spiritually.  We value our pastors and desire to provide opportunities for our children to know and honor them. And we value mentoring through relationship and example.

Jessica Grant is the office manager here at Calvary Baptist Church. She joined the team in September 2017. She has been married to Gary Grant since June of 1999. They have three beautiful children, Morgan, Noah, and Seth. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies, and reading. Jessica loves people and is excited to see many come to accept Jesus as their Savior through the ministry at Calvary.

Cody joined the Calvary staff  in November of 2018. He leads our Student Ministry and our Young Adult Ministry. Cody married his lovely wife Brittany on November 25, 2017. Cody enjoys kayaking, fishing, and playing musical instruments and spending time with his two beautiful kids Valley and Porter. Cody strives to establish an environment of community with fellow church members.

Matt is the Freeway Director here at Calvary. He enjoys reading and especailly spending quality time with his family.  He is married to April, and they have 5 wonderful kids: Kassadie, Devin, Jourdan, Jaiden, Jace.   He really loves his grandson Micah! Matt and April love to serve in ministry and are passionate about the church. They have a heart to reach those struggling in addiction.
